Reflection
This is the project I am most proud of. There is a website called wevideo.com that enables you to make and edit your own videos. I picked the topic of sharing and made a video that describes what sharing is, what it isn't and why it is important. Wevideo was pretty easy to use after messing with it for a while.
I recorded two separate clips for this vodcast. My friend Megan is in the clips with me and my boyfriend is recording with a camera I rented from the university library. The first clip was my friend and I sharing crayons together and the second clip is the two of us fighting and not sharing. The purpose is to show kids how important is it to share.
Wevideo has a lot of music, pictures and effects you can use to enhance your video in addition to any clips you record yourself. You just drag and drop what you want, where you want it to go and line everything up how you want it to be lined up.This would definitely make a fun project for an older kid. I know because I am an older kid and had a fun time making my video. This would also be great to use with younger kids. You could record yourself reading them a story and have your own clips and music to go with it. There are so many effects to have fun with that it is impossible to get bored while editing! This would be a good way to integrate technology into a classroom and inspire kids to get creative.
